Should we have a community for Reviewing Code?
Update: Launched (as a category in Software Development)
I used CodeReview [SE] and even Reddit for reviewing code or having my code reviewed. Tbh it's not that popular anymore and I've found whenever I mentioned it on Reddit, people were surprised and happy to find out such a website existed.

Should it be a separate community, or should Software Development also support code reviews (as a separate category)? It feels like there are natural affinities there, including linking to existing content and asking followup questions, but I didn't participate in CR over there so I don't know how reviews play out in practice.
Categories can be linked to directly, so you could direct someone to the code-reviews area of a broader community. Or maybe we could even do a URL redirect, but that's speculation and I haven't asked anyone on the team about that (so this is not a promise).
If folks want to consider this option, it should of course be brought up on the SD meta. Edit: and now it has been.

Of course it should!
But... should it do that now? No, because Software itself is very low traffic.

Software development competes with the mothership. I think Codidact will get more traffic competing with the smaller ships. I could advertise/recommend codidact/reviewcode without getting into why I don't like [...]
I think you make a very valid point. And that "Might even work as a category on Software Development." by Mithical fits as a better answer while sort of addressing your concern too.
