This question has been addressed elsewhere. See: Ability pages 404 when logged out unless they're for a specific user ("?for=" in the URL)

The user profile page right-hand column has an Earned Abilities block, which has an Abilities link at the bottom.

When logged in, that link takes the user to their own abilities summary at /abilities, regardless of which profile was being viewed. That's perhaps somewhat unexpected (I would expect following a link from someone's profile to give further information relating to the user whose profile I was viewing), but at least it's not broken.

When logged out, however, clicking the same link leads to a Not Found error.

Should the link perhaps instead point at the generic abilities summary at /help/abilities, or a ?for=<id> be added to match the adjacent specific-ability links?
