This question has been addressed elsewhere. See: Should it be possible to "react" to one's own posts?

Why an answer-er should have ability to react on his own answer. I believe he should have ability to react to his post as Outdated. But why they should have ability to react as Worked for me or helpful to his own answer? I was testing if I can on my own answer I saw that I can.

The author thinks their answer will be helpful that's why they are answering otherwise they won't. So they shouldn't have ability to react to his own post as Worked for me. I can outdated will be helpful cause they might have answered on that question 5 years later. Now they have seen that the code works no more. So if he react that as Outdated than everyone will think about it before using his code.

Feature-request :

leaving for someone else. But my suggestion is to hide helpful worked for me for him. But I care of tasty. Some cookers may cook but that may not be completely tasty sometimes, sometimes that could be they can know after eating that so I think tasty reaction should be enabled for everyone. Since it's about Cooking CD. So I am leaving the discussion to Cooking Meta.
