Mismatch between blue notification circle and notification panel

+2
−0

When I read the target of a notification in another tab, and then switch to a tab that still has the notification circle showing, opening the notification panel shows the notification as read, but the notification circle remains:

Blue notification circle showing even though the notification is read

This discrepancy is corrected the next time I refresh the page or follow a link to a different page, but is misleading up until that point.

Since the notification in the notification panel shows as read, this has clearly already been updated, so this seems like an opportunity to update the blue notification circle at the same time.
