Duplicate Mobile Sign In button in user profile shows on mobile

When viewing my own user profile (not anyone else's) there is a button below the profile content called "Mobile Sign In":

Mobile Sign In button below user profile content

This does the same as the Mobile Sign In button in the page header:

Mobile Sign In button in page header

Is this redundant now that the header contains this button on every page?

The button in the user profile appears on both desktop and mobile, whereas the button in the header only appears on desktop. Which is the intended behaviour?

I'm not sure why the button doesn't appear in the header on mobile. But even if it did (in a wide-enough window), it might not always appear -- some things drop out when space is tight. Given that, I don't think it's bad to have a place where it always shows up (your profile), in addition to a place where it might show up (the header).
