Let mail addresses be confirmed

2

I've successfully signed up for Codidact with a mail address.

However, the mail address I used didn't receive a confirmation mail so Codidact can't know if the person operating this account and the person operating the used mail address are the same.

In the event of my account being compromised, it's possible that anyone can change the primary mail address without me being notified of the change, essentially meaning that I completely loose access to my account.

It doesn't invalidate your concern, but note that Codidact also supports two-factor authentication (2FA), which should make an account compromise much more difficult for the attacker. aCVn 17 days ago

This will be added with the next deploy.

As aCVn said in a comment, these sites also support 2FA, for an extra layer of protection on your account.
