Question Reacting without signing in error
When you try to vote and are not logged in, you get an error popup with a 403 like this: 403 error However, when you click "react" under a post without being logged in, it seems to error silently instead - no such error message appears. I think having the error message would be helpful as a rem...

Comment Post #284490 Actually, votes you receive are also public on the "Vote Summary" tab, which is why I proposed it as such.

Question Show reactions in your profile
I'm not entirely sure where they would go, but I think reactions should be in your profile activity in some way. I think reactions are most similar to votes so I would treat them the same. So do not show reactions you've given in your profile/actions, but I think reactions received would fit nicely i...

Comment Post #282459 @#53922 Sorry, but I don't see how this is a duplicate. You don't mention editing thread titles, you talk about suggesting them, which is different (and would be from a different user than the original, possibly)

Question Editing Thread Titles
(Originally brought up at https://meta.codidact.com/comments/thread/3359#comment-11064) Can we allow thread starters to edit the title of a comment? This could be useful in cases like, for example, https://codegolf.codidact.com/comments/thread/3417#comment-11178, where I originally was asking abou...

Answer A: Threaded comments are here!
status-completed Automatic follows > You'll automatically follow a thread if you comment in it or if it's on your post. Can we make this a setting so that we can toggle the default behavior? I personally don't want to be notified of new comments on every thread I've posted in, and pings shou...

Comment Post #276994 A bit late to the crowd, but I'd be interested in participating casually using my experience in DnD 5e and also perhaps asking questions to learn about Pathfinder.

Answer A: Is it possible to accept an answer? How to accept an answer?
No, it is not possible to accept answers - I believe the reasoning behind it is that one person should not influence what rises to the top, as the majority's opinion is generally more useful. However, ideas for an alternative system of "reactions" have been suggested: https://meta.codidact.com/pos...

Comment Post #280846 iirc, the 404s are just trying to load custom styles or functionalities for each individual community, which most communities don't have right now, so it is a normal error.

Comment Post #278671 I disagree with this answer. The incentives with a voting system do not misalign with code golf, they merely enhance it. While I understand your point about intra-language competition, simply put, people want to know which answers they should look at when they see a question. Voting is a simple way t...
