A: Add new global flag reason: AI We have added a new flag type for all post types: > Generated by AI: This post appears to contain AI-generated content (such as ChatGPT) without attribution This places the focus on the attribution part, which is definitely a violation of our policies across the network. This one is quite puzzling to characterize. On Judaism there is a `talmud` tag; `t` works but `talmud` does not even though it's an exact match! We're trying to understand when it does/doesn't happen, in hopes that that will guide us to the fix. Weird bug! (more) |

Fails on Meta with 's' despite the status tags, so while "no tags" might well cause it, that's apparently not the _only_ thing that causes it. (more) |

But here on Meta it happens even with one or two characters, such as https://meta.codidact.com/categories/3/tags?q=st. Yikes. I've got an error log and am looking into it (will probably need help from more experienced devs). (more) |

A: How can I view my deleted posts? I've just tested a small change that would always show your deleted posts on your own profile. Other users (without sufficient privileges) can't see them, as now. Should we always show you your deleted posts, or should we provide a show/hide option? I would want to see all my stuff, but I've bee... (more) |

This is an important question and we owe you an answer. As someone who personally only does the easy bug fixes and sometimes needs help (new to Ruby), I don't want to make promises we can't keep -- so I'd like to get some of the more experienced developers to help answer this. Not ignoring you! (more) |

I filed an [issue](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/1333) to suppress links when there are spam flags. I don't know how easy or hard this is, and I don't want to lose track of it. (more) |

A: Giving question feedback in private - a moderating system to reduce conflicts It's been a long time since this question was asked, and in the meantime there have been lots of changes to the platform. It turns out we can do most of what you're asking for now, although some key steps are restricted to moderators and aren't yet available to people with other abilities. I'll des... (more) |

Cross-category duplicates work within the same community, *so long as* they are both questions. (You can't currently close a question as a duplicate of an article, which is occasionally a problem but we haven't gotten to it yet.) (more) |

I filed a [GitHub issue](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/1277) for reparenting a comment thread, which would partially address this. (You could then move the comment threads from the about-to-be-deleted answer, where "you" probably means a curator or moderator, TBD.) (more) |

A: Error 500 on Tags page Update: the 500 error is now fixed; if you pull the Qpixel `develop` branch you'll pick this up. See below for a workaround in the meantime. (The seeding problem that caused the 500 error isn't fixed; that's a deeper issue.) -- Thanks for reporting this bug. Could you check the category se... (more) |

A: How are site policies decided on Codidact? The Policy and Legal sections in the Help Center are policies set by the providers of the network -- in this case, the Codidact Foundation. The Qpixel repository includes "stubs" for these pages for other networks to populate -- we have a code of conduct and other networks probably do too, but they'... (more) |

A: See user activity across all communities We want to add a network profile. Our initial thinking is around giving you a list of your communities and an overview of your activity there. After we do that, it would be possible to extend it to allow you to drill down into that more, for example to see a list of all your posts on the network in... (more) |

How is what we do now different from Karl's suggestion? (Ignoring the profile tab that Karl acknowledges would be a separate matter.) The links do link to the user-specific pages. Karl's answer describes link text rather than a button -- is that what you're asking for?

I didn't mean *that* abuse vector; I meant a different one where somebody tries to flood us (DOS). If that becomes an issue, we would look at rate limits.

A: Submit same flag multiple times When you submit a flag we don't refresh the page, and so when you flag again the flag modal doesn't "know" about your previous flag yet. After a refresh, you'll get the "you've previously flagged this as..." notice. While duplicate flags are a little noisy, this can only happen if you flag twice ... (more) |

A: Merge abilities help page with abilities dashboard Help topics are static content, so adding the status of your own abilities there is not feasible. The links for the individual abilities in the help are to the same pages as the links in the user-specific list: side-by-side images with same links circled; also, button for abilities dashboard circ...
