Pressing Enter in the Edit Comment box inserts a link instead of submitting

I'm used to pressing Enter in the edit summary box to submit an edit, as it works on Wikipedia and Stack Exchange, however, here, when I edit a post, pressing Enter in the Edit Comment box doesn't submit, instead it inserts link syntax `[]()` into the post body.

To clarify, the edit summary box appears when you edit a post. It's purpose is to enter a short description of the edit, and is limited to 255 characters. See the circled part in this screen shot of performing an edit:
