Comments are definitely not for content on the Electrical Engineering site. See the last section of electrical.codidact.com/help/intro, which you were supposed to have read before posting on the site.

In this case, not being able to include images in a comment was actually helpful, since it prevented an even bigger abuse of comments.

This doesn't appear to explain how what I propose could constitute “abuse”. I've now read what you cite for the second time (I did read it before posting), and don't see how it elaborates.

Considering that I was merely answering a question that you posed to me with exactly the content requested, I don't consider this response to be particularly assistive.

This answer reads as if this proposition somehow made you emotive, which I certainly don't understand.
