Tutorials and readings

+0
−0

Sometimes I'm looking for tutorials or readings.

There are a lot of tutorials and readings on the net, and that is part of the problem, as most don't match what I was looking for.

On "Some other sitE" that type of questions would be close because they are inherently opinion based.

For example, when learning a programming language, most tutorials assume the reader is new to programming as such, carrying an overhead of text dedicated not on the language but on programming.

What are readings?

I've added an answer for tutorials, but I didn't know what was meant by "readings". Is readings a general term like articles?

watchmaker‭ wrote 10 months ago

Well, when I say "readings" I think of more constructive and more specific ways than just "have you looked at Wikipedia?" or even "RTFM".

Do you mean a guide on how to do something?

watchmaker‭ wrote 10 months ago

Not restricted to a guide, but, yes, this would be one major aspect to start with.
