No filter for unanswered questions

+6
−0

This is somewhat related to Need a better way of finding unanswered questions.

Which does make it easier to see what has answers already in a list. However why is there no filter for unanswered? If I'm looking to answer some questions why do I have to hunt them down?

At least on software there's the 4 tabs at the top: Activity, Age, Score, Random

Could we add or change one of those to Unanswered (there could of course be one for Answered as well) these would help facilitate what you're here to do; either help others by answering, or find an answer to your question.

If I'm looking to answer some questions why do I have to hunt them down? Because it's not implemented. That really should have been obvious. Probably nobody thought of it, or it hasn't bubbled to the top of priority list yet. This is a reasonable feature request, but asking "why", especially when it's done more as an accusation than actually wanting to know, is not productive. Keep in mind that this site is developed and maintained by volunteers.

@Olin Lathrop‭ I think the Q "why?" was a rhetorical one

We want to add better filtering, including a way to define and save your own filters. We aren't there yet, but I wonder if we could at least make search support answers:#, so you could search for unanswered or just one answer or whatever you like.
