Let's have the same icon for moderators across views

Currently the moderator icon is not consistent across views.

See for example this post by Jirka Hanika, a moderator in Linguistics:

Post user card detail

And then see who it looks in his/her profile page:

Profile page detail

Both icons mean the same, but are different. Would it be interesting to stick to just one icon to signal the moderator status?

Neither icon says "moderator" to me. (3 comments)

The one with the white lines on blue background looks like a tent, something that might mean "camping spot". I'm not sure what the other icon is supposed to be (a medieval sword shield?), but it certainly doesn't say "moderator" either. A 5-pointed star sheriff badge would be more of a clue, although I don't know how American-only that might be. Still, it's got to be better than a tent and archaic battle equipment.

It's "shield", Unicode codepoint U+1F6E1, presumably representing the rôle of moderators as protecting the community. I suspect that if you want to propose an alternative it should also be a Unicode emoji.

The icon that shows up in the usercard is a configuration option and can be changed. I suspect the one that goes with the "moderator" label in the abilities section of the profile is baked in. I agree that having two different icons is confusing.
