Text colour works in edit preview but not in saved post

I entered the following markdown into an answer I posted recently:

### ImageMagick
>
An error occurred while installing rmagick (4.2.6), and Bundler cannot continue.

I wasn't sure if the red colour would work, but I tried it to find out.

In the edit preview, it looked like this:

Preview text with red colour showing

However, after pressing save the rendered answer looked like this:

Rendered text after pressing save with no red colour showing

I don't mind whether Codidact posts support setting the colour of text or not, but it would be useful to have consistent behaviour between the preview and the saved post.

It's my answer to How to set up a new (development) instance of Codidact/QPixel but it may not be as helpful as you hope as it's specific to Fedora Linux.

I've used it recently to reinstall from scratch and it worked on Fedora, but I wouldn't expect it to apply more broadly. You could ask a more specific question on Collab...
