Why isn't the text editor in the same font as what posts are?

It's not really an issue, but I'm curious why Codidact chose to use a monospace font for editing/posting while published posts use a normal font.

Nothing earth-shattering, really, just what made sense to me. Markdown is technically a markup language, which feels more correct to me in a monospace font. (Plus I also find monospace easier to read, but that might just be me :) )

I get where you're coming from. I'm just used to editors using a normal font even for Markdown (discord markdown, Typora, most forum software, etc.) Personally, I find normal fonts easier to read, as well as just looking nicer, especially when writing longer posts.

Is this something that could be addressed (by users who want it) with a little custom CSS (using a browser extension like Stylus)?

Certainly could, @cellio
