Q&A What gets on Hot Posts?

What actually gets a post on the Hot Posts list? Is it views? Votes? Answers? Comments? Most likely a combination of them, but what exactly?

Example is no longer relevant
  • What actually gets a post on the Hot Posts list? Is it views? Votes? Answers? Comments? Most likely a combination of them, but what exactly?
  • For instance, even though the [Math community](https://math.codidact.com) has been up for almost a month, *[Need a mathematics Q&A site](https://meta.codidact.com/q/277002)* from Site Proposals is still somehow on the Hot Posts list even after a month of no new answers or comments.
