Most reputations dropped by 1 (maybe the "starter" 1 rep disappeared for people who had more)
The recent database update included a reputation recalculation. Reputation doesn't mean as much as it used to (it doesn't govern abilities any more), but it's still present and visible. In the recalc, almost everybody's reputation dropped by 1. I think what probably happened is that the "starter" 1 rep didn't get included. I don't personally care much whether we say that people now start at 0 not 1, or we put the 1 back, but we should be consistent or it's going to confuse people. I see that [my sock](https://meta.codidact.com/users?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=monica%27s+sock), which doesn't do anything except let me see what certain tools look like to new users, has 1 rep.
