Posting a comment automatically opens another comment box after submission
When I click on "Add a comment" at the end of a post, a box appears where I can type my comment, along with the buttons "Post" and "Discard" below it. But, after I type my comment and click on "Post" another box appears below it for me to type another comment, so I have to click on "Discard" to dismiss the new box.
I understand that there is no harm done with the current interface, but I would expect that clicking on "Post" will not automatically open another comment box that I then dismiss by clicking "Discard".
I observed this behaviour on Math Codidact, but I suppose it is the same on other sites and categories as well.

I presume this is a new issue, because I don’t recall seeing it before. (Edit: another comment box appeared after posting this) — ploni 3 months ago
This is a test comment to see what happens when I click Post. Using Edge on Win10. — Olin Lathrop 3 months ago
Yup, another comment box popped up, as you reported. I hadn't noticed that before. — Olin Lathrop 3 months ago
And another. I'll assume this would go on indefinitely, but I'm not going to keep writing more comments. — Olin Lathrop 3 months ago
