Q&A

Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Posting a comment automatically opens another comment box after submission

When I click on "Add a comment" at the end of a post, a box appears where I can type my comment, along with the buttons "Post" and "Discard" below it. But, after I type my comment and click on "Post" another box appears below it for me to type another comment, so I have to click on "Discard" to dismiss the new box.

I understand that there is no harm done with the current interface, but I would expect that clicking on "Post" will not automatically open another comment box that I then dismiss by clicking "Discard".

I observed this behaviour on Math Codidact, but I suppose it is the same on other sites and categories as well.
