The bug with ads for individual articles is fixed.

The ad templates for random posts (at all, or from a specific category) apply some selection criteria, so we don't accidentally promote poorly-received posts, closed questions, etc.  I'm not sure what those criteria are, but according to a comment on the [GitHub issue](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/454#issuecomment-803503464), the categories you linked don't currently contain any posts that qualify.  (Acknowledged that the error-handling there could be better.)
