Chat feature for Moderators

I have some questions. Actually, I learned from SE that, "separate questions or, do not ask multiple question in once". That's why I am not adding multiple questions at once. But, if we can ask multiple question in one question in Codidact than, I will do that next time. ~ Discussion ("status" tag doesn't depend on the question).

I was thinking of moderators. As I am not moderator anywhere. But, I have the question cause, this may help other moderators also. Moderators could have different opinion in a question. Suppose, you had closed a question as Rude. But, another moderator had opened that question again. He is also saying that it is not rude. Moderator who closed the question did some research on the question again. He is again saying that it is rude. So, they have to discuss now. Currently there's no place where they can discuss. Some might say,"they can discuss on Discord". But, Discord or, any other social media won't be a good place for discussing on this topic. Even, some might say there's comment section. But, that should be completely private (between moderators and staffs) ~ not necessary. But, comment section won't be a good place although. So, I would request for chat feature (not like SE. This feature only can be access by mods).

There's another reason of saying it. In SE, few mods close question together. While in Codidact only one moderator close question.

Our current comment system is more useful than, Chat system according to me. I am adding some more information for the question also as I said thread is more useful. Now, what I want that is some private thread which only can access by moderators and staffs. There's another feature I want to implement that is, if any moderator or, staffs wants to add some more people (users) to a private thread system than, user with Curate privilege's can know what happened to "those things" (which problem I talked earlier). Only when moderators give them access to that thread.

We eventually do plan on having integrated chat, including different access levels for different user groups (such as moderators). However, we do not have the resources (such as available developer time) currently to build one, so we're using Discord.

Whether or not a question should be closed is a discussion that should in most cases be public. This could happen either in comments or Meta.

In the event that moderators need to discuss something privately, we set up moderator rooms on our Discord Communities server. These can be available to either all moderators or moderators on a specific site, as well as being visible to staff. (We encourage all moderators to join that server when they're appointed.)
