You will now see a length indicator for post titles, post bodies, and thread titles when you're approaching the limit.  (I'm not real sure from reading the code, but I think it shows up when you get to 75% of the limit.)  We chose this approach, as opposed to showing and updating the count with every keystroke, to strike a good balance between UI distractions and wasted effort (when you submit and find out your text is way too long).  

I realize that we show the count all the time for comments, so only showing it near the end is inconsistent with that.  I"m not sure whether we should apply this change to comments too, or always show the limit for short fields (titles yes, bodies no), or always show it everywhere.
