#1: Initial revision
A few small changes, mostly about moderation and curation
The latest update includes a few small changes of possible general interest: - Moderators can now escalate flags to the admin team. If you have a flag that requires our attention, or if you want to recuse yourself and you don't have a fellow moderator to ask for help from, or if you need some help from us (like database investigation) before you act, use the "escalate" option that now joins "helpful" and "decline". - Admins (but not moderators) can now delete tags. We don't track history on tags, so deletion is "as if it never existed". Because this touches a number of places (post histories, pending edit suggestions, and others), it's an admin function. Moderators, if you want to delete a tag, let us know. (I'm aware that it would be *better* to track tag history, so that post histories would be clear and complete. But that's not the code we have today.) You can also merge a tag into another existing tag; that still works. - It's possible to delete a question that has no answers, but until now, the presence of deleted answers blocked this. That was pretty confusing for people who can't see deleted answers. That's fixed now. - There was a bug where deleted users were still identifiable in post histories. That's been fixed now. - Editing your profile used to show a section for adding a link to a Stack Exchange account. This was used to properly associate imported content. Most of our communities don't have imported content, so this section was confusing on those communities. We now show it only on communities where it's relevant.
