[status-bydesign] There is a current known issue with the icons not responding to clicks: see [this meta post](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/287466). For the moment, click the whitespace around the icon to open your notifications - we're working on getting this fixed. Any assets under `/assets/community` are community-specific CSS or JS customisations - some sites have these (like Code Golf), but the sites that don't will 404. That's normal and expected.
