Make tags in text look like tags
  • In the Hot Posts panel on Codidact Meta, or in the Meta Category of a specific community, some of the posts may be bug reports or feature requests. It is not clear from the Hot Posts panel whether these are needing discussion and voting, or are recently completed:
  • ![Current Hot Posts panel](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/tx3xqtaz6rlqw0fdswt26vx1avm7)
  • Could we mark those that have the status-completed tag so that it is immediately obvious that they are good news? This would also allow people to focus on the others that still need discussion and voting, rather than having to click through to each post to find out which ones need attention.
  • This could be with additional text inserted into the title when a post appears in Hot Posts:
  • ![Hot Posts panel with status completed text added to question titles](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/2ak9w9ud7e2p5lv6i3y3ydlz55ro)
  • It could even show the tag itself for immediate recognition:
  • ![Hot Posts panel with status completed tags after question titles](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/1y24xtn2hi64wk0f3s107aikx939)
  • Similarly for status-planned, status-deferred, maybe?
  • Perhaps there could be a site admin setting that allows selecting which tags should show in the Hot Posts panel for a given community.

Highlight status-completed posts in Hot Posts for Meta
