- Writing and Outdoors both originally imported content from Stack Exchange, which was licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0[^1]. As such, they needed to have that license available on those posts.
Since then, the vast majority of the imported posts have been removed, and I agree that it doesn't make sense to have future posts with an outdated license. As such, I've gone ahead and disabled the CC BY-SA 3.0 license on both Writing and Outdoors. (This will not affect posts that currently have that license; it only prevents its use on future posts.- [^1]: Although it was actually a mix of 2.5, 3.0, and 4.0, that wasn't made clear from SE's side at the time.
