  • When reviewing a suggested edit, any MathJax is presented in its rendered form, making it difficult to see what has changed, and leaving the reviewer wondering whether the MathJax is part of what they need to review.
  • Sometimes it is not even clear that anything has changed, such as in this [example of an apparently empty suggested edit](https://scientific-speculation.codidact.com/posts/suggested-edit/428).
  • Could edit summaries (for both edit reviewers and in edit histories) show the raw form of MathJax, in the same way that they currently show raw Markdown?

Show raw MathJax in suggested edit diffs and edit histories
When reviewing a suggested edit, any MathJax is presented in its rendered form, making it difficult to see what has changed, and leaving the reviewer wondering whether the MathJax is part of what they need to review.

Sometimes it is not even clear that anything has changed, such as in this [example of an apparently empty suggested edit](https://scientific-speculation.codidact.com/posts/suggested-edit/428).

Could edit summaries (for both edit reviewers and in edit histories) show the raw form of MathJax, in the same way that they currently show raw Markdown?
