Make code field active on 2FA sign in page [duplicate]

When signing in with two-factor authentication enabled, a code is requested on the next page after entering email and password:
The "Code" field is not active (does not contain the text cursor) so the user has to click into the field with the mouse, or press tab on the keyboard 13 times, before entering the code.
The sign in process would be smoother if this field was already active so the user could type in the code immediately.
