How does displaying users in the "users" tab work?
Hi I'm a new user and just checking out the website interface, please let me know if this is not the right place to ask this question I have a two part question actually 1. How does joining different communities in codidact work? I created an account and I have left everything at default settings, and looks like I am automatically joined in to all communities (in the drop down menu at the top right, Writing, Codidacat Meta, The Great Outdoors, ..., Tabletop RPG) with the same account and I assumed that's how it works for everyone. But if I go to the users tab in the different communities, some communities have more users than others. Shouldn't all users show up in the users tab of all communities if they get subscribed automatically? How does this work? 2. I was looking at the user list in The Great Outdoors community and I sorted by age. I saw my own name at beginning of the list, which is fair enough. I though going to the end of the list (250 something page) will show me the first user. It is someone called community and I thought all users after him are shown in the order in which they created the account. But I was surprised to see that most of those users were all 1 point users with very generic looking profiles. I expected older users to be the ones with more points. Isn't that the case? I also checked out the software development community and electrical engineering community and sorted the user list by age, and here the users accounts seemed to look more logical, in that the older users had more points, had profile pictures, seemed to have a real name and some of then were also staff. Total number of users also seemed to be less (less number of pages on the user search page) So how does the user name display list work?
