  • I'm getting used to the UI here where the [the title comes after the body when when writing a question](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/277015/277020). I'm finding it a bit annoying because I write my titles first and I have to scroll down to do that. However, even worse, **I am consistently trying to write my title in the tags box**.
  • I just caught myself doing it again and tried to figure out why I keep making that mistake. I discovered that it is because the border color on the title box is so light, that it is nearly invisible to my middle-aged eyes while the border color on the "tags" box has plenty of contrast.
  • The text area for writing your answer gets its border color from this CSS rule:
  • ```css
  • textarea.form-element {
  • font: inherit;
  • font-weight: inherit;
  • font-family: inherit;
  • font-weight: 400;
  • padding: 8px;
  • margin: 4px 0px;
  • border: 1px solid #dfe5e8;
  • background-color: #fcfdfd;
  • border-radius: 3px;
  • resize: none;
  • display: block;
  • width: 100%;
  • min-height: 8em;
  • }
  • ```
  • The title input gets its border color from this CSS rule:
  • ```css
  • input.form-element {
  • font: inherit;
  • font-weight: inherit;
  • font-weight: 400;
  • padding: 8px;
  • margin: 4px 0px;

  • background-color: #fcfdfd;
  • border-radius: 3px;
  • display: block;
  • width: 100%;
  • }
  • ```
  • The tags input gets its border color from this CSS rule:
  • ```css
  • .select2-container--default.select2-container--focus .select2-selection--multiple {
  • border: solid black 1px;
  • outline: 0;
  • }
  • ```
  • The license input has yet a third border from this CSS rule:
  • ```css
  • selection--single {
  • background-color: #fff;
  • border: 1px solid #aaa;
  • border-radius: 4px;
  • }
  • ```
  • All four of these inputs should have the **same** border color. Preferably one with enough contrast for good usability.

Consistent borders on the inputs when asking a question.
I'm getting used to the UI here where the [the title comes after the body when when writing a question](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/277015/277020). I'm finding it a bit annoying because I write my titles first and I have to scroll down to do that. However, even worse, **I am consistently trying to write my title in the tags box**.

I just caught myself doing it again and tried to figure out why I keep making that mistake. I discovered that it is because the border color on the title box is so light, that it is nearly invisible to my middle-aged eyes while the border color on the "tags" box has plenty of contrast.

The text area for writing your answer gets its border color from this CSS rule:
```css
textarea.form-element {
  font: inherit;
    font-weight: inherit;
    font-family: inherit;
  font-weight: 400;
  padding: 8px;
  margin: 4px 0px;
  border: 1px solid #dfe5e8;
  background-color: #fcfdfd;
  border-radius: 3px;
  resize: none;
  display: block;
  width: 100%;
  min-height: 8em;
}
```

The title input gets its border color from this CSS rule:
```css
input.form-element {
  font: inherit;
    font-weight: inherit;
  font-weight: 400;
  padding: 8px;
  margin: 4px 0px;
  border: 1px solid #dfe5e8;
  background-color: #fcfdfd;
  border-radius: 3px;
  display: block;
  width: 100%;
}
```

The tags input gets its border color from this CSS rule:
```css
.select2-container--default.select2-container--focus .select2-selection--multiple {
  border: solid black 1px;
  outline: 0;
}
```

The license input has yet a third border from this CSS rule:
```css
selection--single {
  background-color: #fff;
  border: 1px solid #aaa;
  border-radius: 4px;
}
```

All four of these inputs should have the **same** border color. Preferably one with enough contrast for good usability.
