reproduced in Safari; updated to reflect that
  • I tried to post an answer with a bulleted list, but [it renders without bullets.](https://software.codidact.com/posts/278804/288677#answer-288677)
  • I can't repro here, but I have submitted multiple edits to the answer above, and none of them allow me to get the post formatted with actual bullets.
  • Here is a screen shot while I'm editing:
  • ![bullets in preview while editing](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/f8u8v2u1eglqetn2ylt5rbm8xgoz)
  • However, the edited post renders witout bullets:
  • ![no bullets when saved](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/dnfsyhjn2gdyc0al0121dyltbr2u)
  • I'm using Firefox on an iPhone 12 Mini, iOS 16.5.1
  • One of the previous answers exhibits the same problem - I even submitted an edit suggestion, but now I'm less than certain that it would actually fix the rendering.
  • Am I doing something wrong, or is there a problem on that particular site?
  • This may be a duplicate of https://meta.codidact.com/posts/75005 though it seems to be more generally about the lack of consistency between the preview and the rendered final post.

  • This bug also occurs on MacOS in Safari; it's not iOS/mobile-specific.

  • * Here is a bulleted list produced by selecting the "bullet list" item from the tools menu on the editing toolbar. It renders with a bullet in front in the preview.
