Can I please ask questions from the search page?
After searching for a question, if I don't find it, I often want to ask a new one.
But the search page doesn't have any way of doing that, from what I can see.
Could the ask questions button be added please?

This makes sense. The search-results page isn't "in" a category (same as the list of users, help, and some other pages aren't), so we'll need to add something to choose what category to create the post in. I'll do some poking around and see what it'll take to do that.

As a workaround, click "Q&A" in the title bar to go back to that category, then the "Ask Question" button will appear in the usual spot. It's one extra click, but hopefully fairly intuitive.
