- Suppose I participate in Meta and Q&A Software Codidact, and a Meta answer of mine is downvoted. Fine, but should this reflect in my Q&A reputation? People will see this negative rep on my profile next to my technical Q&A answer and assume I don't know what I'm talking about. I think the ability to ask and answer on Meta is distinct from the ability to ask and answer on Q&A.

Why is meta reputation linked to Q&A reputation?
Suppose I participate in Meta and Q&A Software Codidact, and a Meta answer of mine is downvoted. Fine, but should this reflect in my Q&A reputation?
