Can we have a preview pane for comments?

I just had to reply to a staff member in a comment about some potentially "illegal" HTML code that can be entered in a post.

I had to edit the comment about a dozen times because the code I entered didn't show up as intended when my comment was posted.

This is extremely annoying and time wasting and it happened to me before. On EE there is often the need to post a comment with some complex formatting (e.g. a formula or a piece of code). Without seeing what is the end result it is frustrating to go back and forth just to post something like 3-4 lines of formatted text. Moreover, some mistake can go undetected if most of the formatting pass through but a small part gets garbled.

I wouldn't want to reread each comment multiple times even when I know what I'm posting is correct (maybe copy-pasted from some other place).

Please, can we have a small preview pane just below the comment editing input field?

On a related note, this is one of the things I missed also Somewhere Else.
