Welcome to Codidact Meta!
Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.
Add pending suggested edits to the dashboard
The Dashboard is an easy way to get an overview of the whole network at a glance; on a single page, you can see where there's been new activity that you haven't seen yet, on a category-by-category basis, and global moderators and admins get an overview of all flags on the network.
It'd be great if the dashboard could also pull up info on other bits of information - specifically, suggested edits. I don't know how complicated this would be on a technical level, but the dashboard should ideally allow those who can review edits to know when there are pending edits. Even if this is only for global mods at the moment, like flags, that would still be an improvement (that can hopefully be expanded later).
Ideally, this would show up in-line for the specific category. This is an extremely simple mockup of what I have in mind:
Would this be possible to implement in some form?

Pending edits are now shown on the dashboard in places where you have the Edit Posts ability (or are a moderator or admin) -- that is, where you can do something about those edits:
To further improve visibility of pending edits, we've also added cross-references (and counts) to the "edits" page on each category, like this:
