Thank you for this. You're absolutely right - we don't currently do enough in terms of providing guidance for users when something goes wrong. It's part of our [vision](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/276296) for the platform that we'll provide context-sensitive, just-in-time guidance for all users across the platform, but it's also a long and difficult task to get it right everywhere. I'll take a look at this instance and see if we can't add some guidance. Please continue to report & make suggestions like this as and when you find other places this kind of thing affects.
