Remove ambiguity
  • In the [vote summary page](https://proposals.codidact.com/users/me/vote-summary) the votes received for each day are listed (both upvotes and downvotes), and there is also a total next to the date. This allows seeing at a glance how many votes were received on a given date even before expanding the full breakdown:
  • ![Vote summary for a day plus the expanded breakdown](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/wldkwbtyrgy9v5g954v47hryfyrm)
  • At present this total combines upvotes and downvotes into a single number. I would find it useful to have this number split into total upvotes and total downvotes, as the votes are listed in the breakdown. So in this example the total would show as "+2 -1" rather than just "+1".
  • Very far from urgent, just raising to keep track of this for future reference.

Separate upvotes and downvotes in the vote summary daily totals
In the [vote summary page](https://proposals.codidact.com/users/me/vote-summary) the votes received for each day are listed (both upvotes and downvotes), and there is also a total next to the date. This allows seeing at a glance how many votes were received on a given date even before expanding the full breakdown:

![Vote summary for a day plus the expanded breakdown](https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/wldkwbtyrgy9v5g954v47hryfyrm)

At present this total combines upvotes and downvotes into a single number. I would find it useful to have this number split into total upvotes and total downvotes, as the votes are listed in the breakdown. So in this example the total would show as "+2 -1" rather than just "+1".

Very far from urgent, just raising to keep track of this for future reference.
