We've fixed this by fixing the underlying issue that made this change not as trivial as it first seemed. That text was, it turned out, baked into our code -- fine for *us*, but not appropriate for other deployments. We've moved this text into a global (admin) setting, and then updated that text here to add our non-profit status. Going forward, this text will now be easier for us (and everyone else!) to adjust if needed. Meanwhile, the default value is now "...part of a network of communities...", linking to the dashboard. Even a deployment that only has one community has a dashboard, so that link still works, and people in that situation can just pop into Global Site Settings and change or even remove the text.
