This happens to me in this answer. It is below another answer. Both answers have 2 footnotes. Clicking answer 2's footnote 1 (shorten to a2f1) will jump to a1f1. Clicking a2f2 will jump to a1f2.

Footnote on answer 2 jumps to what is noted in answer 1
