Chess: Booking a problem, strategizing in the middle, solving at the end
  • > For those confused with the title, there are 3 parts of a chess game: the opening (referenced from the word "booking" / book moves), the middle-game and the endgame.
  • Chess is a very interesting board game on its own. With the uniqueness of how the game's fundamentals work, strategies are always a part of the game. These go for every part of a chess game. Choosing an opening to use, learning how to handle endgames, and so on.
  • For this, I'd like to propose a site for the board game we all love and hate.
  • ## Here is the summary for the site:
  • - All questions would have something to do with chess and has to be completely all about chess. You'll see which questions regarding chess are allowed later on.
  • - As of now, only 1 category is thought of for the site, which is the default **Q&A** category.
  • Here's the info for our site, or what'd be called a community:
  • > Our community for chess players of all levels, chess enthusiasts, and those who study the fundamentals of chess.
  • ## Here is the scope of the site:
  • ### Q&A
  • - Questions about learning theory, how to play parts of the game, and evaluating games are allowed.
  • - Questions about chess puzzles are allowed.
  • - Questions about chess evaluation bots (like Stockfish and AlphaZero) are allowed.
  • - Questions like "how to play against [insert entity/bot here]" aren't allowed.
  • > This scope still needs expanding.
  • Can we get a site for the chess players? A simple name like "Chess Codidact" and a link of `chess.codidact.com` will do.
