Comment Post #290402 Hi Monica! I'm using Opera. Obviously, I can access this page. I can access the main page, but when I click on a community, I see threads for about three seconds and then get the error message. I was able to get into Proposals long enough to (I think!) set one up for Worldbuilding, but now I can't ge...

Comment Post #290402 I'm sure this isn't exactly on topic here, but it is related. I've been finding recently that I can't enter any communities or check on community proposals because Codidact pages keep crashing! This particular page is stable (for now), but when I click on other links, I'll see the page appear only to...

Comment Post #283318 @#54232 -- Not sure how to edit the proposal's name. Maybe you have to do that?

Answer A: Proposal for a Stories & Worlds Community
The Other Side of the Moebium I'm copying and updating this from the other, seemingly dormant, worldbuilding related proposal from a year ago. I think this would mesh here as well. It looks to me like Speculative Science codidact forum is going to claim the scientific side of the geopoetical coin. ...

Comment Post #283335 As I recall, those were there when I first responded several months ago. Thomas Myron, the one who made the proposal, hasn't responded to anything in a year, so I'm guessing he's more or less dropped it.

Answer A: Proposal for a Stories & Worlds Community
Is there any way this proposal can be combined with the Worldbuilding Proposal? I think JBH's proposal and my proposal for a deeper dive into issues of world (and story) building mesh pretty well. I also think that anyone who would want to join Stories & Worlds would also join WB.CD. And vice vers...

Comment Post #281761 Indeed not! Subjective is what I've been trying to gently promote over on WB.SE and I think with some success, given the fairly rigid Q&A model they use.

Answer A: How's the interest for a Worldbuilding site?
The Other Side of the Moebium It looks to me like Speculative Science codidact forum is going to claim the scientific side of the geopoetical coin. This is good (though I really don't get the name -- speculative science speaks to me of what the future has in store for real world science). I'd like t...

Comment Post #280155 While I'd probably peek in at SciSpec, I suspect I'd be more interested in the content here. Will give this some thought and post a separate response.

Comment Post #75053 I'm definitely interested, but I'd like to understand the scope of the proposal, too!

Comment Post #75053 How much room are you allowing for the NON-scientific, the artistic, the irrealis in this proposal? Worldbuilding is much more than laws of nature and how to keep the water from spinning off a planet. There are loads of aesthetic concerns, matters of art, matters of cultures and histories and stories...

Comment Post #280155 I am active on WB.SE, and would expect to be similarly active here. I'd like to see more detail on the proposal though. For example, what is "realistic" and what is "plausible" here in the real world may be entirely different from what are "realistic" and "plausible" in an invented world. Likewise, a...
