＊ I used to prefer spaces, but I've since decided that tabs are more inclusive (they're semantically more direct, and you can adjust their display width). But, not everything supports TAB (I'm cursing at you, YAML; you're worse than COBOL!) and also we should just go with the flow: that's what EditorConfig is for!
