404 Not found after donation success

  3. The browser redirects to https://software.codidact.com/donate/success which displays a 404 Not Found page

I have tried this on Software development community only, but I guess it might happen on other communities as well, that's why I have used the "global" meta for this report.

I went through the donation workflow, starting on Software, and donate/success is working for me now. I don't know if you hit something transient or if there's some other difference between us. (I'll ask someone with access to the server logs to take a look.)

I wouldn't expect directly visiting the link, without going through the workflow first, to work (you didn't make a donation, in that case), though we should do something nicer than a 404 for that case. I'm mentioning this in case people try to reproduce by directly clicking on the link in the question.

But I also noticed that the "back to where you left off" link goes to meta.codidact.com, which isn't right, so there's another bug here.

Following the "success" link in the original question, I get a 404 "Not Found" page back. Doesn't work for me on Writing either, so it's not an issue of "you need to be a Moderator". Can you, or someone else, check again when logged in as an unprivileged user? (I realize that since there's money involved, you might not want to make too many different attempts, but there's clearly something going on here.)

Oh, directly going to the "success" link doesn't work for me either (404). I assume that's because I didn't come from the donation workflow. (We should make that more resilient, I agree.) What I meant was that when I went through the donation workflow and got to this step, I got a correctly-rendered success page and not a 404. I've asked someone to take a look at the logs to see if they reveal any useful clues.
