Canina‭

Very little daylight filters through the thick canopy of the old-growth forest that surrounds you in every direction. For a moment, your gaze meets that of a large, gray canid as it moves silently and seemingly effortlessly over the rough terrain, in and out between the trees. To the south, a wide, violent rapid completely blocks your path. You struggle to maintain your balance as you move across the slippery, wet, treacherous ground, navigating the dense vegetation on the forest floor. A flash of lightning is almost immediately followed by the loud crack of thunder. Somewhere off in the distance, you can make out the muffled sound of something crashing through the foliage.
