This question has been addressed elsewhere. See: Unique favicons for each site

I usually work with dozens of open tabs in my browser and even when using Codidact I have several tabs open pointing maybe at different posts on different communities and/or meta.

Having different icons for different communities in the tabs of my browser would greatly speed-up my workflow, because it wouldn't require me to check exactly the title of the tab.

I wouldn't necessarily want a totally custom per-community icon, like Somewhere Else, although this would be nice.

A simple change in colors and maybe a customized overlay would be more than enough, provided the graphic effect made the icons stand out from one another.

I raised this myself a few months ago, and found it was a duplicate of https://meta.codidact.com/posts/277432

It seems to have been raised a few times, which in itself demonstrates demand for this feature. That original feature request also has a number of answers making the case for different approaches. You can add your votes and/or separate answer there too.
