I noticed that [How can I shorten a piece of writing without losing its original essence?](https://writing.codidact.com/q/38868) on Writing Codidact appeared to be tagged writing-instruments, but the question does not relate to writing instruments (pens, pencils, computers, typewriters, ...). So I figured I would remove that tag.

However, when I click *Edit* below that question, the set of tags shown is different from that displayed alongside the question as well as on the front page. Specifically in this case, *writing-instruments* is not among the tags listed for the post.

Force-reloading each page does not appear to make any difference; the set of tags displayed in each location remains unchanged.

I have also previously seen questions showing the same tag more than once, although I can't seem to find any example of that at the moment. I mention that here because it seems like it could possibly be related to this issue.
