Edit activity shows even when the suggested edit isn't confirmed

For some reason, edits are showing up on the history of posts (linked above) and on the activity of the user even when the edit hasn't been confirmed yet.

You can see how even though the edit suggestion is "pending", above it is the "edit" activity. I believe this stems from the same cause as what the linked question shows.
