Can we have customised text in the "Posting Tips" banner for each post type?
I suggested an edit to an answer here on Meta, but the banner at the top titled "Posting Tips" is the same as the one that appears when asking a question:
The text of the banner starts out by saying, "You are about to ask a question on Meta..." which is confusing and also incorrect. The rest of the text is also not very relevant for suggesting an edit to an answer.
I don't have the privilege to edit posts anywhere on the network, so I don't know if the same banner appears when also editing a post directly (and not just suggesting an edit). However, another situation where the banner doesn't match the action is when I edit my own answer: on Math Codidact, the "Posting Tips" banner has the same content as that when I edit my question, so it has tips like "Your title should be a one sentence summary of your question," etc.
Feature request: Can the text of the "Posting Tips" banner be changed to something more relevant when an answer (rather than a question) is being edited?
I'm also not sure about how this works on other post types. In general, customised text in the "Posting Tips" banner for each type of post would be great.

I think this is a bug. There is default guidance for answers that is different from that for questions, and a category can override either or both. This category does not override the answer guidance, so it should be getting the default. Instead, it's getting the question guidance.
To answer your question of can we: yes. But in this case we don't want to override it here on Meta Q&A; we want to fix the underlying problem. Thanks for the report.
