Status Completed.
Always display who asked a question in question lists
Basically, I'd ideally want something like "asked 3 days ago by A, last activity 1 day ago by B".

Having just the person without the question creation date would be significantly less useful but still better than the current situation. It is, frankly, weird that so much emphasis is placed on someone who may have only fixed a typo in an answer, while the asker is completely effaced.

I find the confusion illustrated in [this quesion](https://software.codidact.com/posts/279712) completely understandable.

The main non-technical argument against this that I can think of is that, ideally, the question should stand on its own regardless of who asked it. Even with that ideal, it can still be convenient to find a question recently asked by a user by scanning down the list of questions rather than looking up the user and scanning their list of questions. Also, seeing recent activity by the asker is more notable than recent activity by others.

In reality, who the asker is is relevant information. In the positive case, some people have a history of asking questions I find interesting, or a question is a follow-up to a question I answered before. In the neutral case, sometimes I know a question will be self-answered because I know the asker knows the answer, and I'd rather wait until after that self-answer is made before answering myself. In the negative case, some askers consistently ask questions I find uninteresting and/or are just people I don't want to deal with regardless of the quality of the question. (Thankfully, this last hasn't yet been an issue here, but it's definitely occurred for me on SE.)

Retagged (technically this would apply to any type of post, so removed the specific question tag)
