Keyboard shortcut for image upload prevents me from entering Unicode characters by number
When posting my last question here, I noticed that I can't directly input Unicode characters in the text box due to a keyboard shortcut.
For many Linux application (in particular, the web browsers), the way to directly input Unicode characters whose code you know is to press Ctrl-Shift-U followed by the character number (Unicode code point) in hex.
In the previous post, I tried to do exactly that in order to get an em dash, but to my surprise, instead I got an upload image dialogue.
The result is that I'm not able to directly enter Unicode characters in the text box, unless I have them somewhere on my keyboard (it works fine in the title field, though).
Therefore it would be nice if I could either change or disable that specific shortcut (I'm always using the mouse/mousepad to upload images anyway).
Given that I'm probably not the only Linux user ever using this site, it might also be a good idea to generally move the shortcut to another key.

The keyboard shortcut for uploading an image is now explicitly control-u, excluding control-shift-u.
