status-completed tag on closed question

What is the importance of adding status-completed tag in a closed question? This and this question was marked as duplicate although @ArtOfCode added status-completed tag. He added status-completed tag to those duplicated post. So, any user will review those duplicated post. So, I think that status-completed tag isn't necessary for closed (duplicate) question.
